2014 Gates Millennium Scholar

Late April I recieved the greatest news of my life, I was selected as a Gates Millenium Scholar. To recieve such a prestigious honor, I was overwhelmed this joy. My life had taken a turn for the better, and I could barely grasp this reality. This scholarship will not only help fun my college tuition, but provide me with the leadership skills a scholar needs to excel in the world. As the weight of my parents dream rest on my shoulders, I will move onto higher education to fufill our dreams.
